Crate training is very beneficial when flying with a pet in the cabin — it keeps puppies calm and quiet, so boarding goes smoothly.
- Start with short, positive sessions in the carrier
- Build up to 30–60 minutes daily for young puppies
- Associate the carrier with treats and comfort
Day before & day of
Pickup-day checklist
- Bathe your puppy or kitten the day before
- No food 2–3 hours before pickup; potty before handoff
- Pack a blanket with mom’s scent, a small toy and dry food
- Have health certificates and vaccination records ready
- Meet the nanny curbside at departures — we’ll text when landed
