Terms & Conditions

  • All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age and 20 lbs or less to be transported. The individual requesting or arranging for transport certifies that the pet being transported by QT Pet Transport LLC is at least 8 weeks of age and 20lbs or less on or before the transport pick-up date. The person signing this form certifies the age of the pet to be at least 8 weeks old.*
  • A valid health certificate issued by a doctor of veterinary medicine is required no sooner than 10 days before the scheduled delivery date. The certificate must travel with the pet. Medical records or vaccine records cannot be used as a substitution.*
  • A current rabies vaccination certificate must travel with your pet (for pets over 16 weeks of age).*
  • We will require an ample amount of food for your pet in a resealable bag that can be closed/sealed securely. No paper or plastic supermarket bags. Please provide feeding instructions (amounts and frequency of meals). Your pet will have access to fresh, clean drinking water. We will provide the travel carrier for transport, pee pads, and water. *
  • We can only accept a small bag of TSA-approved items for the new pet owner that can fit in a small book bag. Any items other than food and a small blanket must be cleared in advance.*
  • We will not transport any pet that requires a muzzle or other restrictive device. Our transporters reserve the right to refuse transport of any pet that displays signs of aggression.*
  • The pet must be 100% paid in full prior to scheduling transport. We do not handle any monetary transactions between seller and buyer.*
  • Scheduling – STANDBY Pick-up and Delivery. We will provide an intended flight itinerary for your pet delivery but cannot guarantee specific pickup and delivery dates and times. We will only give you an intended date for pickup and delivery. There is a possibility that we may need to change the flight itinerary or airport at any point during the delivery.  We will make every effort to adhere to dates specified by you to QT Pet Transport LLC, but there can be unforeseeable circumstances that affect the dates given for transport which can include lack of available seats on the flight, flight delays or cancellations,  weather, acts of God, etc.*
  • Scheduling – CONFIRMED Pick-up and Delivery. We will provide a guaranteed flight itinerary and purchase a guaranteed airline ticket that we will book directly with the airline. The only way this itinerary would be subject to change is flight delays or flight cancellations, weather, or acts of God.*
  • PICK-UP/DELIVERY. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify the person sending and receiving the pet of our estimated time of arrival.  If the sender/seller or Receiver is late, after 30 mins there will be a late fee charge of $50 and $50 added every 30 mins thereafter. If no person is present at the time of transport and/or the above-described paperwork is not in order at the time of pick-up or delivery, we may have to continue without your pet. You will be charged for the full amount of the transport fee If no one is available to send/receive the animal and/or we are unable to contact the responsible party, there will be a daily fee of $100 per pet to defray the cost of care and boarding. The party ordering the transport will be responsible for these charges. We recommend that alternate arrangements be made in the event the person responsible for receiving the animal is unable to do so. The receiving party must be available 24 hours a day.*
  • MOST IF NOT ALL, OF OUR TRANSPORTS, ARE COORDINATED WELL IN ADVANCE. A RUN MAY BE TIGHTLY COORDINATED TO ACCOMMODATE EACH INDIVIDUAL’S LOCATION AND DATES. ONCE YOUR DELIVERY HAS BEEN SCHEDULED IT IS DIFFICULT AND COSTLY TO RESCHEDULE AND MODIFY A DELIVERY. IF YOU CANCEL A DELIVERY THAT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED THEN IT IS UNDERSTOOD BY YOU THAT THE DEPOSIT REFUND IS A TOTAL FORFEIT. IF YOU CANCEL A DELIVERY THAT HAS BEEN BOOKED THEN IT IS UNDERSTOOD BY YOU THAT THE REFUND IS A TOTAL FORFEIT. YOU WILL RECEIVE NO REFUND BUT MAY APPLY IT TOWARD A FUTURE TRANSPORT WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CANCELATION. THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY ARE IF YOUR FLIGHT WAS CANCELED BY THE AIRLINE OR ON OUR BEHALF AND WE CAN NOT GET YOU RESCHEDULED WITHIN 5 DAYS YOU MAY RECEIVE A PARTIAL REFUND MINUS THE INITIAL DEPOSIT.
  • Cat bites, in particular, can be dangerous and require medical attention. Due to the serious nature of the bites nannies do not place cats in their kennels or chase them upon arrival. If the cats are not in a carrier isolated to a small room where the owner can easily gather them it puts everyone at a disadvantage and they may leave the pickup location without boarding the cats. A refund will not be given. The transporters are instructed not to place the cat/cats into the carrier or kennel but it is expected the owner or the pickup contact will place the cats in their carriers or kennel.
  • Our transporters should NOT be contacted directly outside of the group text for any booking inquiries or concerns and pricing should NEVER be discussed with our nannies. If you schedule a delivery through one of our transporters and not directly through QT Pet Transport we will not be held accountable for anything that happens within that delivery and you will be subject to legal action.
  • Additionally, the booking party hereby acknowledges and confirms that the Company will bear no liability whatsoever in the event of the pet(s) death, harm or injury unless the booking party opts into the Company’s in-house insurance. If the booking party wishes to opt into the Company’s in-house insurance there will be an additional $50 charge which covers up to $5,000 in costs in case of death, harm, or injury that has been proven to be a direct cause of our contractor’s actions or negligence. This claim must be confirmed by an unbiased licensed veterinarian that is not associated with either party. 
  • QT PET TRANSPORT, LLC reserves the right to refuse transport of any pet due to misrepresentation at the time of scheduling as to the pets health and/or ability to walk or stand of its own accord, or on a leash, and is of a size and weight that one person is able to pick up and carry.*

Refund Policy

  • We require a deposit of $125 to process STANDARD Delivery Requests and $225 to process all RUSH deliveries and deliveries with two pets. This Deposit must be paid or the request will not be processed.

 

  • $100 of the Deposit will go towards the total balance of the delivery. The remaining amount of $25 will go towards the processing fee.

 

  • **The Deposit is non-refundable unless we cannot schedule the delivery on the requested dates for standard standby deliveries and for rush standby deliveries if; we cannot deliver within 3 days from the date the deposit was paid. 

 

  • If we provide flight information for your delivery on one of your requested dates and you do not accept, we will try to accommodate your new request 2 more times with different flight information. If you don’t accept any of the flight Info sent , you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

  • (Rare occurrence) In the event we are not able to make our standby flight due to limited seating availability, delays, late pickup & inclement weather , it is mandatory that we are given a 5 -day period to reschedule. If we cannot get your pet delivered within 5 days from the date the 1st delivery did not work out. You will qualify for a full refund for the total amount paid to QT Pet Transport LLC.

 

  • If you choose to cancel before the reschedule 5 day waiting period you will forfeit your refund.

 

**If you cancel a booked delivery before the delivery date , you will not be eligible for a refund, however we can reschedule the delivery within 30 days for a $50 rebooking fee.
