Health certificate
Ask your vet for a health certificate within 10 days of travel, along with vaccination records.
Grooming and comfort
A bath, a potty break and familiar scents help your pet settle in for the journey.
No food before pickup
Hold food 2–3 hours before pickup to keep tummies settled during the flight.
Pack their bag
A small bag of dry food, a favorite toy and a blanket with a familiar scent.
Vet records ready
Vaccinations and health documents ready for the nanny — plus any feeding or medication notes.
Stay calm
Your relaxed energy sets the tone for a smooth travel day.
Carrier requirements
The perfect fit
To ride in-cabin, pets must fit comfortably in an airline-approved carrier (about 18″ × 12″ × 12″) and weigh no more than 20 lbs.
- Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and fit to fly
- Soft-sided, airline-approved carrier — we can provide one
- Room to stand, turn and lie down comfortably
- For larger pets, ask our team about ground transport options
Travel packlist
Pack for pickup day
- Bathe the puppy, kitten, dog or cat
- No eating at least 2–3 hours prior to pickup
- Potty before pickup
- Blanket with the mother’s scent and/or a familiar toy
- A small bag of dry food for the pet
- A leash for older dogs
- Health certificate and any paperwork

A safe space
Set up a quiet area with a cozy bed, fresh water and a few treats or toys. Pet-proof cords, cleaners and small objects.
Supplies ready
Have food, a water bowl, a leash and waste bags on hand — plus a sturdy carrier or leash for airport pickup.
The first days
Greet them calmly, let them explore at their own pace, and schedule a vet visit within the first few days.
