Step-by-Step Process for Scheduling a Pet Delivery with QT Pet Transport’s Flight Nanny Service

  1. Selecting Your Preferred Dates and Airports
  • Start by completing the “Instant Quote Form” with two possible dates that would work for both the breeder (or sender) and the receiving client.
  • Additionally, choose the breed of your pet and pickup and delivery airports that are most convenient. Keep in mind that our flight nanny service primarily operates from major airports, so selecting the closest major airport will help streamline scheduling.
  1. Make the Initial Deposit
  • We require a $125 non-refundable deposit to begin scheduling. $100 of the deposit will be credited toward the total delivery fee and is essential to securing the pet delivery process.
  • Once this deposit is received, our team will notify our network of flight nannies and begin working on your delivery.
  1. Scheduling Your Delivery
  • The scheduling process generally takes anywhere from less than 1 day up to 5 days, depending on the availability of flights and the details provided.
  • Once we secure the flight information, the booking party will receive an itinerary with confirmed flight detailsfor the upcoming delivery.
  1. Securing the Delivery Date with Final Payment
  • After all parties have reviewed and confirmed the flight itinerary, the person responsible for the payment can secure the final delivery date by making the second and final payment.
  • To complete this step, click “pay balance” from your itinerary email, and follow the instructions to finalize your delivery fee.
  1. Communication with the Flight Nanny
  • Your dedicated flight nanny will initiate a group text with both the sender, receiver& QT Pet Transport approximately 2-3 days prior to the scheduled delivery. This message will include essential details such as:
    • Meet-up times and locations
    • Contact information for quick coordination on the day of delivery
  • All updates, including any changes or flight cancellations, will be communicated promptly in this group text.
  1. Day-of Delivery Updates
  • On the day of delivery, your flight nanny will keep all parties informed with updates on timing, any unexpected delays, and changes in meet-up logistics, if needed.
  • For safety and organization, please keep all communication with the flight nanny in the group text only.
